Flowered naval combat of Villefranche-sur-mer
In the port of Villefranche-sur-mer, in February, the flowered naval combat takes place. For the occasion, the typical boats called “pointus” are covered with flowers such as mimosa and carnations, and they parade by distributing flowers to the spectators who come to admire these festivities.
